Our Sister, Pumpkin, as a Puppy - 2003
|
Our sister (from another litter), Pumpkin, was very sick when she and two other female puppies were born to Sienna and Guido on January 15, 2003.
She was diagnosed as having an enlarged esophagus and would not have survived if it hadn't been for the loving care and devotion given to her as a newborn by Michele. But she not only survived, she thrived! And after Michele was sure that Pumpkin was healthy and would live a happy, normal life, she found a loving family for her. Before Pumpkin left Terragethen, Michele had her spayed by her vet, because he was familiar with her medical history. And then Pumpkin went home with her new family - and she took her (and our) half-brother, Freddie, with her! Pumpkin and Freddie had become friends and playmates as puppies and were lucky enough to go to their 'Forever Home' together.
